I've just been using Honda Genuine oil and oil filters. May consider changing to another brand if it's highly recommended. I just don't really know to much about oils. I figure that I do it every 3,000 miles or so that its worth spending the extra money on good stuff. I don't see the point in trying to save money on such a crucial thing such as oil that the engine needs to perform.

I going to start using Castrol synthetic blend. Full synthetic is too hard on the engine seals. As far as oil filters go, I usually go with a mid-grade filter(I went with a Bosch last time). I don't think that higher quality filters really make any difference.

I use Mobile 1 full synthetic with fram filter
BTW I can get really good deals on Mobile1 If any one is interested in trying it, let me know, you are looking at 4.00 a qt, where as if you buy it in the store it is 6.99, you will have to buy your own filters at the store
